Calvin Gainey is a South Carolina native, growing up in the rural low country. He attended school at Clemson University where he studied business management and construction sciences. While a student at Clemson, he added perspective to his education by living an studying abroad in New Castle, Australia. Calvin’s Construction career started as an employee of Cutting Edge Concrete in Seneca, SC, installing custom stamped concrete and stonework. Calvin then became a superintendent for D.R. Horton in Lexington, SC and has since had the same title at America’s Home Place and Essex Homes Southeast Inc, each time assuming more responsibility and increasing in the quality of home built. It has been a dream come true for Calvin to have the opportunity to create and develop a home construction company of his own. He has over 100 homes to his credit with outstanding customer reviews.  He and his Maddie live in West COlumbia and enjoy spending weekends at Clemson football games and boating on Lake Murray. It would be his sincere pleasure to build a home for You!
